Madrid sent six repaired Leopard tanks to Kiev

The Kingdom plans to transfer four more tanks to UkraineMADRID, April 22.

/tass/. Spain sent the first group of six Leopard tanks to Ukraine on Friday. This was reported on Saturday by Reuters.

The ship with the repaired military equipment headed from the port of Santander (autonomous community of Cantabria) to Poland. Then the tanks will be transferred to Kiev.

Earlier, Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles stated that combat vehicles should be delivered to the Ukrainian side by the end of April. The Kingdom plans to transfer four more Leopard tanks to Kiev.
