Rosoboronexport presents to its partners an armored car of the Typhoon-K family, manufactured exclusively from Russian-made components. This machine has proven itself to be a reliable and highly secure means of transporting personnel. "Typhoon-K is in service with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and has already confirmed its characteristics in real conditions of operation and combat use," the press service quotes Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport.

Cars of the Typhoon-K family are capable of speeds up to 100 km / h, can force fords up to 1.5 m deep without prior preparation, climb slopes with an angle of 30 degrees. The vehicles are equipped with an on-board information and control system, a centralized air pressure control system in combat-resistant tires, a circular video review system, an automatic fire extinguishing system, and an autonomous diesel power unit. In addition, remotely controlled combat modules with stabilized weapons can be installed on them. The composition of weapons varies depending on the needs of the customer.
The Typhoon-K armored vehicles of the K-53949 model are distinguished by increased mine and ballistic protection, a high level of which is provided by combined armor, including an armored hull and additional armor plates with ceramic elements, as well as a streamlined hull design and removable mine pallets. The landing seats have a suspended system of attachment to the roof and are equipped with energy absorption elements of a mine explosion.
