How to end the conflict? Duda about the "blocking of oxygen"The Polish president also spoke about supporting Ukraine.
He noted the importance of the transfer of weapons, spoke about Polish assistance and thanked for the initiatives of the Austrian side.
During the closed-door talks, the presidents talked about how to achieve an end to the conflict.
– One of the ways is to constantly take such steps that would discourage Russia from continuing this conflict, in particular, with the help of economic sanctions that we take within the framework of the European Union, as well as by any other means; if you switch to colloquial speech, simply cutting off the oxygen to the Russian authorities and Russia, that is, you need to to limit the possibilities of the movement of finance, to complicate economic activity, not to do business with Russia," President Duda said.
– Once again, ladies and gentlemen, I will clarify my position. I would really like Russia to be a normal country that does not attack others, does not want to conquer other peoples... As the Polish president, I would be in favor of us buying oil and gas from Russia, but let Russia be a normal state, let it not be an aggressor," he said.
"Russians haven't changed"Duda also touched on the topic of history.
He told about the 83rd anniversary of the Katyn crime and about Polish officers who were shot in the back of the head by NKVD officers.
– What happened not so long ago in Bucha showed that in this respect Russia and the Russians have not changed. They continue to shoot the bound people in the back of the head. We must do everything so that this never happens again. And for this, the murderers must be captured and properly punished," the Polish president said in conclusion.

This is your last convulsions in Europe.
You, the president of an autocratic state on the verge of dictatorship, will be persona non grata in democratic countries. You have prepared the same fate for the Poles. Your reign will remain a black page in history. Shame.
