Andrey Komarov, Director of Digital Transformation at Rostec State Corporation, took part in the International Conference on Machine Learning, Data Analysis and AI Technologies Data Fusion 2023, which takes place on April 13-14 at the Skolkovo Innovation Center. Andrey Komarov spoke about what results the State Corporation plans to achieve under the roadmap "New Industrial Software" by the end of 2023. According to Andrey Komarov, the State Corporation faces ambitious tasks in terms of developing domestic industrial software in which it is possible to design complex high–tech products - aircraft, helicopter, engine.
"We expect to reach the world level of maturity of domestic industrial systems at a faster pace in two to three years," the Rostec representative stressed.
In addition, Andrei Komarov noted that the State Corporation faces the tasks of finalizing the domestic geometric core, migrating data into domestic systems not only of new, but also of current products, as well as transferring industrial systems to import-substituted platforms.
"In this regard, according to the results of 2023, for a number of complex medium-term projects on import substitution of industrial and engineering software, a target architecture of the solution will be developed taking into account all challenges, detailed requirements and specific technical specifications will be formed. The development of "heavy" industrial systems will also be started, pilot projects will be implemented at the Corporation's organizations in terms of design and technological preparation of production, work has been carried out on the migration of some data from imported systems," said the Director of Digital Transformation of the State Corporation.
Among Rostec's other plans for the current year, Andrey Komarov called the implementation of projects on the introduction of private 4G LTE/5G networks to ensure high data transfer speeds, increase the level of information security with integration into the corporate communications network and with internal telephony.
In 2023, it is also planned to introduce an industrial Internet of Things platform, which will allow controlling the utilization of production capacities, equipment failure and breakdown, provide a guarantee of the fulfillment of orders, including the state defense order and reduce the level of defects.
Answering the question about the most large-scale projects using intelligent analysis technologies, Andrey Komarov called the project on the introduction of an industrial Internet of Things platform with predictive analytics based on artificial intelligence. The platform will optimize the route of production of products, increase the load of technological equipment by about 10-12%, reduce the cost of repair and maintenance of equipment by an estimated 15%. "Thus, the use of artificial intelligence based on the industrial Internet of Things will increase the production and economic efficiency of an industrial enterprise," he summed up.
Such projects include the intelligent transport system of Moscow, which controls the operation of more than 10 thousand units of public transport. In addition, artificial intelligence technology is actively used in aviation. Digital tests of individual units and systems of aircraft are already underway within the framework of promising projects and modernization of serial products. In the future, the State Corporation plans to scale this experience to other industries.
