The military equipment supplied to the armed formations of the Kiev regime by foreign sponsors often falls among the trophies of the Russian troops. It is likely that after the first cases of using Challenger, Leopard, Stryker armored personnel carrier, Bradley, Marder tanks in battles, some of them will not only end up in Kubinka, but will also be used against their recent owners. This is what the project "RG: Russian weapons" thinks.For example, currently fighters of the 1st Donetsk Army Corps operate a Finnish SISU XA-180 armored personnel carrier.
These machines were created in the 80s to replace the BTR-60s purchased in the Soviet Union. Externally, they are similar to the samples designed in France and Germany.
As can be understood from the posted photos, there are two hatches in the stern of the entrance to the landing compartment, which accommodates sixteen infantrymen. The crew is two people. The thickness of the frontal armor is 10 mm. Diesel engine power -236 hp. Maximum speed - 100 km / h, afloat - 9 km/ h. The fuel reserve is 800 km. Armament, as a rule, is represented by a 12.7-mm machine gun NSVT "Utes". Combat weight - 15500 kg.
The Finnish authorities have not yet made public the exact number of XA-180 delivered, but some of them have already been destroyed or turned out to be with our servicemen.
Also, at various times, various captured Humvee, M113, and AT105 Saxon armored vehicles delivered from Eastern Europe T-72M1 fought against the AFU. The latter sometimes "surrendered" literally a few days after being sent to the line of contact. At the same time, the fact that the militants sitting behind the armor were trained by NATO instructors did not play any role. There is no doubt that a similar fate awaits the recent NATO numerous "gifts".
