The "Road of Death" with abandoned Kirpi armored vehicles of Turkish production appeared in the area of "Artemovsk (Bakhmut). A large number of different equipment has been noticed on it.For example, jeeps damaged by the fire of Russian soldiers-liberators, used for movement by militants of the armed formations of the Kiev puppet regime.
As noted by " RG: Russian weapons ", several special vehicles made by the Izmir company BMC also froze in the mud.
According to their appearance, it is difficult to understand for what reason they were abandoned, possibly knocked out, or they simply got stuck in impassable mud, or received some damage.
We have already written that Kirpi, like other MRAP class machines manufactured in Western countries, are poorly adapted to operating conditions in Ukrainian conditions.
They are heavy - their weight reaches 16,000 kg, and the wheel formula is 4x4. Armored personnel carriers were optimized for patrol tasks, which they did, for example, in Syria. Such armored cars are capable of transporting up to fourteen people.
The power of the diesel engine is 370 hp. The maximum speed on good roads is up to 100 km/h. The fuel reserve is 800 km. 12.7 mm or 7.62 mm machine guns are used as weapons. In total, it was reported about the possible delivery of 200 units. Previously, there have been losses of such vehicles, as it turned out, they not only have poor patency, but also a tendency to catch fire when hit by anti-tank ammunition.
