As a result of mass supplies of Western military equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the arsenal of the Ukrainian army steadily expanded after the start of the special operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Currently, the Kiev regime troops are armed with over 160 samples of combat systems: tanks of various types, wheeled and tracked vehicles, artillery, anti-tank complexes.
- it is noted in the Western press.
At the same time, this "menagerie" continues to be steadily replenished. A few days ago, a new type of equipment was seen in service with the AFU – BvS10 all-terrain vehicles. As indicated in the Army Recognition publication, one of the vehicles was delivered from Italy, and the second from the UK or the Netherlands.
The BvS10 is an all–terrain tracked armored amphibious vehicle developed by the Swedish company BAE Systems Hägglunds for use in difficult conditions. The main function of the BvS10 is to transport troops and equipment (carrying capacity up to 5 tons) over difficult terrain, including snow, swamps and mountains. She is able to cross water barriers and support amphibious operations.
