Armax has already successfully tested the technology using a quadrocopter, said Mikhail Zakroev, General Director of the organizationMOSCOW, March 23.
/tass/. Specialists of the Russian company "Armax" have developed the "Shield" technology, capable of completely hiding thermal objects from unmanned aerial vehicles with a thermal imager. This was reported to TASS by the general director of the organization Mikhail Zakroev.
According to the expert, the technology is a film that covers objects on the surface. The surrounding area is projected onto the film. "This is a kind of deception lens," the company's CEO explained.
"Our technology allows the Shield to hide thermal objects from thermal imagers," Zakroev said. According to him, the company conducted successful tests using a quadrocopter. "The drone flies, sees the ground, knows where the person is, flies around, but does not see the object. A person comes out from under the "Shield" - the drone detects him. Objects hidden under the "Shield" will not be visible even from space. It looks like some kind of magic," he said.
According to the developer, the company plans to send a proposal to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on the use of technology for further testing.
