The militants of the Ukrainian armed formations sent to the United States, who began to study the later version of the Abrams tanks, will now be engaged in mastering the simpler and, accordingly, budget version of the vehicles that appeared almost 40 years ago.

Now we are talking about a "hot spot" where there is a high probability that the multi-ton "gifts" will be captured by the Russian army. When this happens, it will definitely hit the prestige of the overseas military-industrial complex.
It's one thing to have M142 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers or M270 MLRS variants hiding in the rear at a considerable distance from the line of contact, another thing is tanks and infantry fighting vehicles operating at the forefront. The experience of past operations indicates that many foreign models became trophies of liberating soldiers almost immediately after they were transferred to the front line.
Therefore, it is possible that the Americans will act like the British, forcing the Ukrainian crews of Challenger 2 to load explosive charges into the combat compartment in advance in order to destroy tanks in case of a possible retreat.
