Norway has transferred eight Leopard 2 tanks and four BRAM tanks to Ukraine, the equipment has already been delivered to Poland, from where it will be transported to Ukraine in the near future. The transfer of equipment was announced by the Norwegian Ministry of Defense on its official website.
The Norwegians used Ukrainian An-124 Ruslan aircraft to transfer tanks and engineering vehicles to Poland, most likely to the airfield in Rzeszow, where the logistics hub is located. From there, the equipment will already be transported to Ukraine. As stated by the Minister of Defense of this Scandinavian country Bjorn Arild Gram, it is important for Norway that Russia does not win in the conflict with Ukraine.

In mid-February of this year, the Norwegian government announced its readiness to transfer 12 pieces of equipment from the presence of the Norwegian army to Ukraine. It was about eight Leopard 2A4NO tanks, as well as four support vehicles, including a tank bridge-laying machine and engineering vehicles. In addition, Norway will allocate spare parts for tanks, as well as funds for the purchase of ammunition. Norway has also allocated military instructors to train Ukrainian tankers in Poland.
