"If Ukraine cannot defend its independence, then we will have to enter into this conflict, because our fundamental values will be threatened," the Polish diplomat said. "So we won't have a choice."

Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Thursday that Ukraine will receive a MiG-29 fighter jet from Warsaw in the coming days.
