In particular, among them are the military coup, the "total surrender" of Kiev, the transformation of Lviv into Lemberg and other territorial lossesMOSCOW, March 14.
/tass/. Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev for a year of publications in Telegram described a total of 12 possible future scenarios for Ukraine and several options for the development of the situation around the world.
Among them are the loss of Ukraine's access to the sea, the transformation of Lviv into Lemberg and other territorial losses, a military coup, the "total surrender" of Kiev and even the complete collapse of the country and its statehood. In his opinion, the "old Europe", exhausted by the "alpha male" of the United States, can also disappear - if by that time the Third World War does not begin in the world.
The politician announced shortly after the start of the special operation that Western social networks had compromised themselves, and on March 14, 2022, he started a Telegram channel, the first post in which appeared three days later. Now the number of publications totals 267, and the number of subscribers has exceeded one million.
Medvedev admitted that he writes posts himself, and a sharp style makes it easier to convey thoughts on current topics to readers.
Word Cloud
Most often, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation in his Telegram channel used the words "Russia" (313 times), "country" (264) and "Ukraine" (147). Among other things, the United States also entered the top 10 (100, and the word "America" 34 more times), and the terms "war" and "peace" turned out to be neighbors (96 and 95 mentions, respectively).
Medvedev used the word "sanctions" 81 times (in six posts they were jokingly called "infernal"). The politician mentioned nuclear potentials and the danger of their collision more than 20 times. He admits that in the event of a protracted conflict, "at some point a new military alliance will form from those countries that the Americans have got." Medvedev is confident at the same time that only "a complete and final victory of Russia is a guarantee against a global conflict."
The politician often spoke unflatteringly about those who wanted to "tear up" Russia. The top of his favorite (and mildest) epithets to certain persons included "idiot" (eight mentions), "clown" (eight), "freak" (seven), "henchman" (six), "fool", "geek" and "bastard" (four each each one). There were also "intellectual pygmies", "grunting piggies" and "wordless mankurts".
In the eyes of adequate Europeans, Medvedev called the situation in Ukraine a "pornographic show", and as consequences predicted to the world an "uncontrollable gulyai-pole" and "the path to a new universal singularity - to hell."
Sayings and quotes
The total volume of what Medvedev wrote in Telegram for the year amounted to about 262.5 thousand characters. This is comparable to half of the novel "12 Chairs" by Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov and almost 45 times more than "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish" by Alexander Pushkin. The deputy chairman of the Security Council quoted both of these works in his channel, as well as George Orwell's "Animal Farm", Victor Pelevin's Empire V, Mikhail Bulgakov's "White Guard" and "Run" and other literary sources.
The Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation also quoted the songs: The Winner Takes It All by ABBA and The Show Must Go On by Queen.
Medvedev spoke several times with proverbs and sayings: "A la guerre comme a la guerre" ("In war as in war", about the EU visa policy), "The barn burned down - burn and the hut" (about Poland's losses from Russophobia), "He laughs best who laughs last" ("Laughs well the one who laughs last", about the response of the Russian Federation to sanctions), "Tertium non datur" ("There is no third", about the "one and a half scenarios" of resolving the Ukrainian crisis).
The author also expanded the horizons of readers with the terms "zugzwang" (a situation in chess in which any player's move leads to a deterioration of his position - about the situation in which Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky found himself), "paroxysm" (a sudden exacerbation of the disease - about the growing Russophobia in the West) and four times "camarilla" (a group of intriguers - about the opponents of the Russian Federation).
Mechanics of posts
The shortest text publication - 72 characters - was published in December last year and contained Medvedev's wishes regarding the participants of the World Cup final. Some posts were accompanied by emojis. The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council posted four posts (three videos and a collage on the topic of resignations of European leaders) without comment.
One day he shared a photo of a pet - a fluffy blue-eyed cat lying on the carpet "waiting for the next package of sanctions."
On average, over the past three months, the politician's posts have collected about 2 million views. The most widely read of all time was the publication of June 7, 2022, in which Medvedev explained the harsh tone of his statements in Telegram and said that he hated Russia's enemies. The message has collected about 6.1 million views.
Medvedev continues to maintain accounts on other social networks, including sometimes updating Twitter (he published 20 posts on the Russian-language page, 69 on the English-language page). Instagram Facebook (2.3 million subscribers) and Facebook (1.3 million subscribers) are banned in the Russian Federation (owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation) Medvedev has not appeared in the past year.
