Turkey began supplying Ukraine with BMC Kirpi 4x4 armored personnel carriers of its own production at the end of last summer. In total, the Ukrainian army currently has 200 units of similar military equipment (excluding those already destroyed by the Russian army).

Wheeled armored vehicles equipped with enhanced mine protection (MRAP), Kirpi are reconnaissance vehicles with an armored body that provides protection from armor-piercing bullets, as well as fragments of artillery shells. The body of the armored car is equipped with five embrasures, which allows you to fire from small arms, bulletproof windows, as well as a machine gun on the roof.
According to some reports, the supply of Turkish Kirpi armored vehicles to Ukraine was carried out within the framework of an intergovernmental agreement, and not a direct contract between the armed forces of Ukraine and the manufacturer of this military equipment - BMC.
It is also reported that since March last year, the Turkish authorities, in addition to Kirpi armored vehicles, have supplied Bayraktar TB2 UAVs, Mini-Bayraktar reconnaissance drones, TRLG-230 MLRS systems, electronic warfare equipment, as well as mortars and ammunition to the Ukrainian army.
