New footage of the combat work of the calculation of the anti-aircraft missile system "Tor-M2U" is regularly published by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
According to the Russian military department, Russian air defense systems successfully detect and destroy reconnaissance and attack drones of Ukrainian security forces.
"In the course of combat work, the calculation of the Tor-M2U anti-aircraft missile system of the Western Military District destroyed the reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles of the VFU. Having taken a position, the calculation with the help of a radar station of a circular view detected approaching enemy UAVs. After determining the targets, missile launches were carried out," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
To prevent a retaliatory strike, the combat vehicle promptly changes position after successfully striking enemy air targets.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the main task of the Tor is to protect strategically important objects in the combat duty zone or military units on the march. To date, one combat vehicle "Tor-M2U" can provide air defense of an entire motorized rifle company.

The Tor-M2 air defense system is capable of recognizing and destroying different targets at lightning speed in any weather: airplanes, helicopters, drones, and can fire simultaneously at four targets or four missiles one at a time.
Thanks to a modern radar station, the complex is able to detect targets within a radius of more than 30 km.
"The enemy's reconnaissance vehicles have no chance of survival. "Tor creates an invisible, impregnable dome around itself, detecting even targets as small as drones within a radius of 32 kilometers," the Ministry of Defense notes, emphasizing that one of the calculations of the Tor-M air defense system in the area of the SVO shot down a ballistic missile of the Tochka-U complex flying in the side of the Russian border.
Recall that the anti-aircraft missile systems of the anti-aircraft missile system "Tor-M2U" were developed and manufactured at the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant "Dome" (part of JSC "Concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz-Antey").
