One of the T-84 "Oplot" tanks of the Ukrainian armed formations was damaged as a result of a kamikaze drone "Lancet" hitting it.
According to the "RG:Russian weapons", high-precision weapons were used by soldiers of a unit belonging to the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The fact that we are not looking at an ordinary T-64BV or, for example, BM Bulat, can be understood by the characteristic shape of the on-board screen.
The blow fell on the right side of the hull or turret, as a result, apparently, the 125-mm gun was disabled. The combat vehicle also received other damage. It can be argued that she has completely lost the opportunity to participate in hostilities. If the gun can be replaced by removing it from another tank, then the sights used on this version of the "Bulwark" are currently no longer available. The same applies to the "Knife" dynamic protection elements demolished by a blow.
In total, before the start of the special military operation, there were five T-84s ("Object 478DU9") in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were adopted in February 2000.
Kharkiv V.Malyshev Transport Engineering Plant managed to produce an installation batch of ten machines. Four of them, with air conditioners and active protection complexes "Drozd", removed from the T-55AD tanks in Ukraine, were sold for study in the United States.
On the basis of one of the "eighty-fourths", according to some sources, a version was created that was exported to Thailand under the name BM "Oplot-T".
The remaining samples were repeatedly demonstrated in the rear, but they were afraid to send them to the line of contact. However, as it turned out, you can get damaged without going to the front line.
