Some of the components of the shells used against the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine were released in the Czech RepublicMOSCOW, Feb 28 - RIA Novosti.
Some of the components of the thermal ammunition used against Russian troops in Ukraine were produced in the Czech Republic, said Igor Kirillov, head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection forces of the Russian Armed Forces, at a briefing on the preparation by the West of large-scale provocations with the use of toxic chemicals in Ukraine.
According to him, the Russian stationary and mobile RCB-situation monitoring systems deployed in the area of the special military operation allow timely detection of chemical threats and prompt response to them. In addition, the analytical capabilities of the chemical laboratories available in the Russian Ministry of Defense make it possible to reliably determine not only the type of chemical used, but also the country of origin.
"For example, the information presented on the slide about the use of homemade ammunition against Russian troops using UAVs is widely known. The conducted studies proved that these are thermal-acting ammunition that contained combustible oxidizers and additives, some of which were produced in the Czech Republic," Kirillov said.
