Then the naval maneuvers themselves started with the participation of 47 ships of NATO countries, 89 helicopters and airplanes, more than 7 thousand personnel of the naval forces of the alliance countries. During the exercises, American planes constantly flew over the site of the future sabotage, sometimes descending very low.
