Poland has agreed with South Korea to purchase K239 Chunmoo multiple launch rocket systems. Now the South Korean company Hanwha Aerospace, which produces MLRS, has signed a contract with the Polish manufacturer WB Group for the supply of C2 control and monitoring systems for this equipment.

Poland will equip South Korean multi-caliber MLRS K239 Chunmoo, which it ordered last year in the amount of 218 units, with domestic control and control systems. They will be integrated into missile systems in South Korea. C2 includes the TOPAZ control system, FONET digital communication platform and radio communication facilities.
The South Korean side stated that this agreement will serve to strengthen military-technical cooperation with the Polish defense industry. In addition, Hanwha Aerospace noted, the contract will contribute to the development of the Polish economy and strengthen the deterrent potential of its Armed Forces.

The Chunmoo MLRS is a multi-caliber rocket launcher capable of firing 600 mm tactical missiles, 239 mm guided missiles or other types of ammunition. They were developed in 2015 to be able to hit targets on the territory of the DPRK.
