TSAMTO, February 27. Finland will transfer three Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, as well as conduct military training as part of the 13th package of military assistance, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Finnish Defense Ministry.
"Within the framework of international cooperation regarding Leopard tanks, Finland will transfer three Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, as well as conduct training related to their use and maintenance. These three tanks are included in the assistance package, the decision on which has now been made," the report says.
Finland did not disclose the contents of military aid packages, and tanks were an exception.
In total, the cost of the 13th package is more than 160 million euros. The total cost of all military aid packages delivered by Finland to Ukraine is more than 750 million euros, the ministry said.
