The Russian armored car Typhoon-K53949, developed by Remdiesel, has completely got rid of imported parts in its design and is made exclusively from Russian components. The new version of the import-substituted armored car received its own name "Phoenix". This was reported by representatives of the company.
Remdiesel is working to replace imported components in the entire line of armored vehicles produced by the company. "Typhoon-K53949" became the first armored car assembled entirely from Russian parts. By the end of the year, the company promises to finish work on other models of the line.

K-53949 4X4 armored vehicles are designed to transport personnel and cargo of combined arms and special units, including peacekeeping formations, in various conditions. The car has high combat and operational characteristics, high controllability, speed and passability on all types of roads. The multi-purpose armored vehicle has protection against small arms and explosive devices. Armament on an armored car can be installed differently, depending on the tasks performed.
The armored car can accommodate up to 10 people: crew - 2 + 8 troops. Curb weight - 14 tons, speed up to 100 km/h, power reserve of 800-850 km.
