Highland Systems from the UAE, which introduced the small-sized Kronos submarine last year, is trying to push its product into the global arms market. She proposed using the submarine to meet military needs at the IDEX 2023 exhibition held in Abu Dhabi.
The submarine with a hydrodynamic hull was made of composite materials in order to reduce the radar cross-sectional area. In motion, it can be driven by power plants of various types: hybrid, diesel, battery or electric. The length of the submarine is 9 meters, width 7.4 meters, height 2 meters. It has a maximum mass of 10 tons.
