The resident company invested 5 million rubles in the projectMOSCOW, February 15.
/tass/. Technolab, a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (SPV), has launched the first enterprise in the Far East for the production and maintenance of vacuum spraying and plasma treatment of thin films necessary for the manufacture of microchips. This was reported on Wednesday by the press service of the Ministry of Regional Development.
"The Technolab company, by agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (KRDV), has established an enterprise in Vladivostok for the production, maintenance and technical support of vacuum spraying and plasma treatment of thin films. The equipment is used at the initial stage of manufacturing electronic chips used in GSM and Wi-Fi wireless communication modules. The main consumers of such equipment are Russian and foreign factories and research companies," the report says.
It is explained that the resident company has invested 5 million rubles in the project. At the same time, the equipment - it is planned to produce several machines per year - can be used in other areas of microchip production.
"Such production is the first in Primorsky Krai and in general in the eastern part of Russia. The equipment manufactured and maintained by the company is used at one of the initial technological stages of the production of electronic chips and elements. In the installation, silicon wafers are processed under vacuum conditions at nano- and micro-levels under the influence of plasma, ions and magnetic fields. As a result, on a silicon substrate we obtain materials with the properties necessary for the subsequent production of semiconductor chips and elements used in the field of wireless communication," the press service quotes the words of the head of the Technolab company Alexey Bolkhov.
According to him, the status of a resident of the free port allowed the company to reduce the tax burden and attract highly qualified employees due to reduced (up to 7.6% from 30%) insurance premiums.
"The development of the microelectronics industry and the achievement of Russia's technological independence are among the most important tasks that the state and business are solving today. The launch of a new production facility in the Far East in the SPV mode with the use of tax benefits and administrative preferences makes a significant contribution to the formation of a sustainable technological process in the domestic semiconductor industry, providing enterprises with the necessary products. About 40 projects in the fields of electronics and information technology are being implemented in the free port, in the territories of advanced development, in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation with the use of state support measures," the words of the Deputy Director General of the KRDV for investment project support Sergey Scalia are quoted in the message, explaining that among the supported projects are the production of electronic devices, software development, creation of data centers.
The free Port of Vladivostok is extended to 22 municipalities in five subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District. According to agreements with the KRDV, projects are implemented by more than 2.1 thousand residents. 349 billion rubles of private investments have already been invested in the economy of the district, 40.4 thousand jobs have been created, investors have implemented 385 projects. SPV residents have access to significant tax benefits and preferences, among which are insurance premiums reduced to 7.6% for 10 years, zero property and profit taxes for the first 5 years, and the application of the free customs zone procedure. The minimum threshold of capital investments for obtaining the status of a resident of the SPV is 500 thousand rubles.
