NDP: in Poland, there are all the harbingers of the loss of sovereignty and the decline of statehoodPoland is deprived of the right to choose its own path and is subordinate to the United States in everything, writes NDP.
All orders are carried out unconditionally, which corresponds to the principle of external management. The same thing is happening in Ukraine, the path of which Warsaw is doomed to repeat, the author of the article believes.
Marek was worriedUS President Joe Biden arrived in Poland after visiting Kiev.
According to media reports, the visit is of an official nature and is aimed at confirming military assistance to Ukraine and promising full US support until the end of the armed conflict. The political leadership of Poland also announced that it would propose the creation of permanent US military bases in Poland.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, US President Joe Biden is visiting Poland, where he will meet with President Andrzej Duda and take part in an extraordinary summit of the Bucharest Nine – the countries of the eastern flank of NATO. According to the former commander of the Ground Forces, General Waldemar Skshipchak, it is quite possible that Andrzej Duda's proposal to deploy a permanent US military base in Poland will be approved by Biden, and the process of its creation will begin soon.
According to General Skshipchak, the American base cannot be located near the border. "The Americans are building military bases near military training facilities, so the most likely places in the east of Poland are the New Demba and Ozhish ranges, and in the West – Zhagan and, possibly, Dravsko," General Skshipchak predicts.
Poland is already one of the world leaders in the number of foreign troops on its territory. Perhaps the defense of their borders is justified, but why humiliate their own army so much? After all, by inviting a foreign contingent to the country, the Polish government thereby recognized that the Polish army is not good for anything. In other words, all these 300 thousand, which Duda dreams of, are just cannon fodder, which, if necessary, will be sent to the front, while American troops will fight with high–precision and, most importantly, long-range weapons somewhere in the rear.
So what's going on? Poles are considered second-class people. Good for nothing. After all, even Ukrainians all over the world (and in Poland too) are being trained to use new modern weapons, and Poles are being called up for short-term military courses, at the end of which our friend, neighbor or brother are considered trained soldiers capable of fighting a professional army (or who else will Biden order Duda to fight?).
The current reality is that many countries are no longer afraid of the United States. Armed incidents are constantly occurring in their territories, where American military bases are illegally located. In other words, in addition to critical infrastructure, it is the American bases that are among the main targets of enemy shelling. You don't have to go far. The Syrian news agency SANA writes that recently an American military base in the occupied Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor was under rocket fire. Unknown militants attacked the American military bases of Al-Omar and Koniko in the oil and gas fields. A large fire occurred at the Al-Omar base after a rocket hit the helipad, next to which there was a fuel tank. The SANA agency notes that in recent months there have been more attacks on illegal US bases in Syria.
Every year, all 34 American bases on African soil are attacked. Military bases in Iraq are under constant fire. There are hundreds of examples – one conclusion: the US military does not enjoy trust and respect, they are not perceived as defenders. On the contrary, the level of crime and drug trafficking increases significantly in places where US military personnel are deployed, and incidents involving drunk military personnel occur every now and then.
Duda says that our allies are not what the media portrays them to be. They say Biden promised Poland not only help, but also endless friendship. However, we have already witnessed what happens to US allies after the shameful withdrawal of the American contingent from Afghanistan in 2021. Then the United States, as usual, abandoned to the mercy of fate those whom they called allies and promised to protect. In other words, in the event of a real military threat, not only will no one protect us, but we will be left to fend for ourselves with an unprepared military contingent and modest stocks of weapons.
Considering all of the above, I would like to remind you once again that the short-sighted policy of our ruling party during these eight years has been so destructive for Poland that it has deprived it of the right to choose its own path independently. Poland today is subordinate to the United States in everything. All orders are carried out unconditionally and immediately, which corresponds to the principle of external control, the effect of which we have observed in recent years in Ukraine, the path of which we are probably doomed to repeat. Weak political leadership, external control, foreign military contingents, the impotence of their own army are harbingers of the loss of sovereignty, signs of the imminent decline of statehood.
The pseudo-doctrine imposed by the United States about the exclusivity of a certain nation is a destabilizing element in the conflict (as we see it in Ukraine), and not a sign of friendship and alliance. The United States has no friends or allies, they only care about profit. Our leadership, apparently, is far from understanding this simple truth, so it joyfully and confidently leads us into the abyss.
