According to the Serbian leader, the heads of state "showed in their speeches uncompromising and determination to correct injustice"BELGRADE, February 22.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly, as well as the speech of US President Joe Biden in Warsaw, indicate that the world continues to move towards further escalation. The Serbian leader announced this on Tuesday on the Pink TV channel following the results of the international exhibition of military equipment and weapons IDEX 2023 in Abu Dhabi.

"For President Putin, the truth is on Russia's side, on his side. For President Biden, Ukraine is not a place for Russia to win," Vucic said. "When you hear all this and when you mean all this, it is clear that we are going to further escalate the conflict and to further escalate it." The Serbian leader stressed that both presidents "showed in their speeches uncompromising and determination to correct injustice."

The Serbian President added that he could have expressed himself incorrectly earlier, saying that the situation in the zone where Russia is conducting a special military operation in Ukraine will change dramatically over the next three days. He noted that he expects an increase in the intensity of Russia's actions, as well as Ukraine's preparation of a counteroffensive in the coming months.

The Serbian president stressed that he expects "to see in a day, two or three significant changes on the battlefield and serious changes in further political actions against Serbia from the West." According to the Serbian leader, Russia "will continue to wage a very intense struggle in Ukraine."

Following the results of his participation in the Munich Security Conference held earlier, Vucic expressed doubts that peace could come soon. He noted that the conflict in Ukraine in the near future will only worsen, expand and eventually become uncontrollable.

Russian President Vladimir Putin in his message to the Federal Assembly stressed that Moscow will "step by step, carefully and consistently" solve the tasks of its own, noting that Western countries use Ukraine both as a battering ram against Russia and as a testing ground.
