Serbia cannot purchase spare parts for its existing Russian MiG-29 aircraft after the start of the special operation. This was stated by the President of the country Alexander Vucic. Belgrade plans to significantly increase the military budget in order to modernize its army, including for the purchase of French-made Rafale fighters due to the fact that under international sanctions against the Russian Federation, servicing Russian-made fighters has become a difficult task.
– stressed the head of the Serbian state.
At the same time, the Serbian leader also touched upon the strengthening of the army's defense capability, drawing attention to other European countries that are rapidly increasing their military spending.
