Russia is preparing to transfer modern multi-purpose fighters of its own production to Iran in exchange for the supply of Iranian drones. The head of the US State Department, Anthony Blinken, spoke about his suspicions in an interview with the American TV channel CBS.

The US Secretary of State claims that Russia and Iran are allegedly preparing a deal under which Russian fighter jets will be exchanged for Iranian drones. Of course, he did not provide proof of his words, but this is not required. American politicians, as you know, speak only the truth, they themselves have repeatedly stated this. So there is no reason not to believe Blinken.

(...) Russia is also supplying military equipment to Iran, including what appears to be sophisticated fighter jets. It looks like this may be happening, which will make Iran an even greater threat.

- he declared.

The United States is very concerned about the military assistance provided to Russia by Iran, this has been stated in Washington more than once. In general, Americans are concerned about everything that is happening in Russia and around it, and what is happening in Kiev does not bother at all. Now the main accusations are that Iran supplies Russia with drones, which it uses to strike at Ukraine's critical infrastructure. Neither the United States nor Ukraine has evidence of drone deliveries, as well as the fact that Russia uses Iranian drones. Moscow and Tehran deny all this.

And there is no secret for Iran about Russian fighters. Just a month ago, Tehran officially confirmed that the country's Air Force will soon receive multi-purpose Su-35 fighters. Shahriyar Haydar, a member of the Commission on National security and Foreign Policy of the Iranian Majlis, said that Iran is buying planes, they will start arriving after the Iranian New year, which is celebrated on March 21. Russia will also supply helicopters and some defensive systems and missiles.

Apparently, the US does not read the Iranian press, so Blinken is not aware of the supply of Russian fighters.
