We are talking about a development that has already been reported by Military Review in one of the news stories. This is a drone for which the developers came up with the name Trump.
The RIA Novosti information service reports that the first flight tests of the Russian transport drone Trump are scheduled for April 2023.
In terms of its characteristics, it is known that Trump is able to deliver cargo weighing up to a quarter of a ton at a distance of about 600 km. The drone will be able, according to the project, to reach speeds of up to 195 km /h.
Meanwhile, on the fronts of a special military operation, military personnel and military commanders make it clear that they now urgently need various types of UAVs, including reconnaissance and strike ones. The main claim is that there are very few such domestic drones at the front. Often, Chinese copters are used to conduct aerial reconnaissance, which are delivered to the zone by volunteers with money collected by caring citizens. In this regard, the work on a multiple increase in the number of drones in the arsenal of Russian units and formations in the area of the special operation should become one of the priorities for the relevant structures.
