TSAMTO, February 15. Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand said that all four Leopard 2A4 tanks promised to Kiev arrived in Poland, where the Ukrainian military began to train their operation, RIA Novosti reports.
"Four Leopard 2A4 tanks sent by Canada have arrived in Poland, where Ukrainian soldiers are being taught how to use these tanks," Anand told reporters before a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels. She posted a video of her approach to the press on Twitter.
A.Anand added that 25 Canadian instructors are engaged in the training of the Ukrainian military.
As the agency reminds, Berlin previously announced plans to create a "tank alliance" that could supply Ukraine with two battalions of Leopard 2 tanks, which is about 90 combat vehicles in the German military interpretation and 60 units. – in Ukrainian.
