/tass/. The Pentagon considers moderate the risks associated with the routes of Western arms supplies to Kiev. This was stated by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milli, on Tuesday in Brussels following the results of the next meeting of the contact group on military assistance to Ukraine created by Washington and its allies.
"Lines of communication during combat operations are always subject to enemy attacks, this case is no exception. The lines of communication that pass through the western regions of Ukraine are subject to Russian attacks <...>. The key to ensuring the delivery of supplies is to maintain good operational security, vary the time, do not create standard schemes, choose different routes and make sure that your forces are dispersed," he said.
"Ensuring security from the Polish or any other border <...> is part of the security plan for the AFU. <...> They apply all the relevant practices, techniques and procedures that I have described. I would say that [the delivery process] does not go without risk, but it is moderate, so far it has been possible to successfully pass [it]," Milli summed up.
