This was stated on Monday by the Secretary General of the alliance Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference on the eve of the ministerial meeting.
"We need to clearly distinguish: sending NATO aircraft with pilots to ensure a no-fly zone in Ukraine is NATO's participation in the conflict, supplying aircraft to Ukrainians will not make NATO a participant in the conflict. This topic will be discussed at a meeting of NATO defense ministers, but we need to understand that it will take a lot of time, and Ukraine needs urgent supplies, so we need to be sure that all countries will fulfill their obligations," he said.-
