/tass/. The time has come to step up efforts to support Ukraine with military and political measures. This was stated on Thursday by the head of the European Council Charles Michel upon arrival at the EU summit, where President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will speak later in the day.
"The time has come. We must increase support for Ukraine, both military and political. We need to decide what additional tools we can use to expand support in the coming weeks and months," Michel said.
Earlier, a TASS diplomatic source in Brussels said that no decision on the transfer of aircraft to Kiev will be made at the summit, the discussion will continue in NATO, and Zelensky's visit is primarily "motivational."
