TSAMTO, February 9. Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec Group) is organizing a single Russian exposition at Aero India 2023, which will be held from February 13 to 17 at Yelahanka Air Force Base in the suburbs of Bangalore, India.
"Rosoboronexport is a regular participant in one of the world's largest Aero India air shows, where the Russian exposition traditionally stands out for its scale and volume of products presented for the air force and air defense. The exhibition gives us an excellent opportunity to show modern Russian–made samples and discuss areas for further bilateral cooperation with India," said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport. – Military-technical cooperation between Russia and India is an example of an industrial partnership with many finalized and active joint projects for all types of armed forces. Today we offer new points of interaction in the framework of joint development and production of high-tech products based on Indian enterprises within the framework of the national Make in India program in compliance with all requirements for localization and technology transfer."
The unified Russian exposition, located in Pavilion B, houses the stands of Rosoboronexport, the United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec) and the Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region. Aero India will also host delegations of leading Russian enterprises producing products on the theme of the exhibition.
Rosoboronexport presents in India about 200 of the most promising models of Russian-made weapons and military equipment, including the promising multi-purpose fighter of the 5th generation Su-57E, the Checkmate light tactical aircraft, the Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft, the Il-78MK-90A tanker aircraft, as well as super maneuverable Su-35 and Su-30SME fighters, multi-functional MiG-35D front-line fighter.
Rosoboronexport will show at the exhibition a light multi-purpose Ka-226T helicopter, the production of which is proposed to be opened on the basis of the joint venture "Indo Russian Helicopters Limited" with the participation of Russian and Indian industrial companies under the Make in India program.
In addition, Aero India 2023 demonstrates a wide range of Russian military helicopters for various purposes. Among them are the upgraded versions of the Ka–52E, Mi-28NE and Mi-171SH military transport helicopters that are most in demand today on the world market and in the Asia-Pacific region.
Visitors to the Rosoboronexport stand are invited to familiarize themselves with Russian unmanned aerial vehicles: Orion-E reconnaissance and strike, Orlan-10E and Orlan-30 reconnaissance - a novelty of 2022.
In the air defense segment, Rosoboronexport presents at the exhibition the entire range of means that can be used both separately and as part of a layered air defense system. The Russian exposition presents the S-350E Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system, Viking, Tor-M2KM, Tor-M2E anti-aircraft missile systems and the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system. In addition, the company will offer portable anti-aircraft missile systems "Igla-S" and "Willow". Also, visitors of the exhibition will be shown Russian means of combating unmanned aerial vehicles, including Repellent complexes, RLK-MCE, RB-504P-E and RB-504A-E.
As part of the Aero India 2023 business program, Rosoboronexport plans to hold substantive meetings and negotiations with representatives of the Ministry of Defense and other law enforcement agencies of India and countries of the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, the company expects large-scale work with state and private enterprises of the Indian defense industry complex in order to expand the work on industrial partnership between Russia and India in accordance with the requirements of the national programs Make in India and "Self-sufficient India", the press service of JSC Rosoboronexport reports.
