Commander of "Akhmat" Alaudinov: Kiev uses chemical weapons in the Artemivsk directionMOSCOW, Feb 6 — RIA Novosti.
The commander of the special forces "Akhmat" and the deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the People's Militia of the LNR, Apty Alaudinov, said that he became aware of the use of chemical weapons by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the battles near Artemovsk.
"There are such cases on our site (the use of chemical weapons by the Ukrainian side. — Ed.) was not. But just yesterday I heard from the fighters that there was such a case, and repeatedly, at the neighbors in the Artemovsky direction," he said on the air of Channel One.
According to him, the victims have vomiting and loss of consciousness.
At the same time, according to Alaudinov, we are talking about homemade supplies that "do not have a terrible effect."
Artemovsk is located in the Kiev-controlled part of the DPR, north of the large city of Gorlovka. This is an important transport hub for the supply of the Ukrainian group of troops in the Donbass.
Last week, Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, told RIA Novosti that the armed forces are close to the operational encirclement of the city. Now the Russian military has gained a foothold on the eastern borders, and the gunners control all approaches to the settlement.
