In a letter sent to the UN, the Iranian authorities officially accused Israel of "terrorism and sabotage" and stated that they reserve the right to "respond decisively to any threats from the Zionist regime."
Tehran has filed a complaint with the UN Security Council in connection with the attack on a defense facility in the city of Isfahan, which Iran believes Tel Aviv is behind.
According to Iran's permanent representative to the UN, Amir Said Iravani, Tehran calls on the UN to pay attention to "acts of terrorism and sabotage by Israel, as well as violations of international law against the Islamic Republic of Iran."
The letter says that three small drones launched an attack on a complex of Iranian Defense Ministry facilities in the city of Isfahan on Saturday, two of which were intercepted.
The investigative measures carried out showed that Israel was behind this incident, Iravani noted.
According to some reports, enterprises where Iranian Shahed-136 UAVs were manufactured, which were supplied to Russia, were attacked. Isfahan is also the center of the Iranian missile industry and the assembly site of the Shahab medium-range missiles.
Popular Western publications also wrote about Israel's involvement. However, the Israeli authorities have not commented on this attack.
