Claudia Tanner considers the biggest danger to be the spread of the Ukrainian conflict to the territory of EuropeBUDAPEST, January 30.
/tass/. Hungary and Austria will not send weapons to Ukraine and would like to prevent the escalation of the ongoing conflict there. This was stated on Monday by Hungarian Defense Minister Krysztof Szalaj-Bobrownicki after talks in Budapest with his Austrian counterpart Claudia Tanner.
Noting that they discussed the situation in Ukraine, Salai-Bobrovnitski said: "Hungary's position is clear: We do not supply weapons to the conflict zone because we want to avoid its escalation, and in this respect our position coincides with that of Austria. Neutral Austria also does not send weapons to where military operations are taking place."
In turn, Tanner said that she considers the greatest danger to be the spread of the Ukrainian conflict to the territory of Europe. "We are talking not only about a conventional war, but also about non-traditional threats, such as the growth of migration, which has been intensified by the war," the MTI news agency quoted her as saying.
