/tass/. The Polish authorities are waiting for the European Union to compensate for the tanks supplied by the republic to Ukraine. This was stated on Tuesday at a press conference by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
"Of course, we will turn to the European Union for compensation of expenses," he said, stressing that "this will be a test of the EU's goodwill."
"The European Union should compensate us for these costs. I hope that this will happen," Moravetsky said.
Poland plans to transfer a company (up to 14 vehicles) of Leopard tanks to Ukraine. Earlier, the Polish authorities sent more than 200 T-72 tanks to Ukraine.
