Breitbart readers criticized Berbok's statement about Polish "Leopards" for UkraineGermany will not interfere if other countries decide to send their "Leopards" to Ukraine, Breitbart reports, citing a statement by Burbok.
According to the readers of the publication, Kiev has settled down well: it is not a member of NATO, but it receives benefits from the alliance.
Berlin is ready to give Poland permission to send German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine as part of assistance to repel the Russian offensive, if such a request is received from Warsaw, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said on Sunday.
"If we are asked such a question, we will not hesitate," Berbock told LCI television after the Franco–German summit in Paris.
"We know how important these tanks are, and that's why we are discussing this issue with our partners now," she added.
Berbok, who represents the Greens in the ruling coalition of Social Democrat Olaf Scholz, said Poland had not yet sent an official request.
She made her statement due to the fact that Berlin resists pressure from Kiev, not agreeing to send Leopard tanks from its own arsenals to Ukraine.
Poland has announced that it is ready to supply Kiev with 14 such vehicles, but Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said he was waiting for a "clear statement" from Berlin on whether those countries that have them can transfer Leopards to Kiev. He also called Germany's refusal to supply its own tanks to Ukraine "unacceptable". "Innocent people are dying there every day," he told the RAR news agency.
The foreign ministers of the three Baltic republics issued a joint statement on Saturday calling on Germany to immediately deliver Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said on Friday that the West "has no alternative" except to transfer heavy tanks to Kiev.
The reports that appeared this week indicate that Germany will agree to send tanks only if the United States does the same. Washington stated that the supply of Abrams tanks to Ukraine is unrealistic, citing difficulties with training crews and maintenance of vehicles.

Ben BacheGermany, Poland and Ukraine have a disgusting history of common atrocities.
In Babi Yar, Ukrainians and Nazis killed Jews and buried them in common graves. Ukrainians went to Poland to serve as guards in the Auschwitz concentration camp. They had a reputation for being the most violent guards. And today the United States has entered into an alliance with these Nazis, who used to be enemies for them.
Eric Flint HollyWe are also allied with Germany, our former Nazi enemy.
Poland had a quasi-fascist regime when it was attacked by Germany. And the most mass murderers in the twentieth century were Jews, among those who staged the Holodomor, there were a lot of them. Probably, Ukraine considered it justified to speak on the side of the Nazis, because it saw them as liberators from Stalin. In general, the United States should not have entered either the First or the Second World War, with the exception, perhaps, of repelling Japanese attacks.
ImaObserverAnd the United States is also harboring George Soros, a Nazi collaborator who betrayed his own Jewish people.
There is information that he gave them to the Nazis and profited well from it.
MTKAnd more.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, old Georgie opened a branch of the Renaissance Foundation in Ukraine. In addition, he really has blood on his hands, since he was involved in organizing a coup in 2014. In fact, the Jew Zelensky is a protégé of Soros.
Ben BacheThere is a difference between the interests of the American people and their rulers.
The American people have never benefited from our wars, including the Second World War. And the rulers received huge profits and power from them. If you don't get any benefit from the conflict, why support it? This is a question that voters never ask.
Lodestone007Just look who supports Zelensky.
That says it all.
RichSome do this for the sake of enriching the military-industrial complex, weakening Europe, and possibly destroying Russia.
And Ukraine is just a tool.
Chet WellsAgain, the equipment is on taxpayers' money.
How good it is: you benefit from NATO, but you are not a member of NATO.
Field DogIf Ukraine does not receive 500 or more Leopard tanks, and Polish/German crews do not sit down at the levers, the Russians will destroy these tanks.
PissedatthemallPoland wants to give Ukraine the old stuff, and get new tanks from us or from Britain.
Everything is simple.
SageGermany helps Ukraine with tanks, and at the same time buys oil from Russia.
Have you noticed?
Bergoff BirnsOh, my God, again.
Tanks with iron crosses on the towers will go towards Russia. Remember what they said: "Never again." But this time everyone has nuclear weapons, and your ass will be fried to a crisp along with your life.
Robert BrownHow Berlin is investing in this conflict: we will allow America to send anti-aircraft missile systems there, and Poland tanks.
You can send letters of thanks to Berlin.
Svico61, bless the RussiansWhat happened to the thousand tanks that the Ukrovs had at the beginning, including hundreds of armored vehicles sent by NATO in the spring and summer?
I thought that the mad Zelensky was winning and destroying shoddy Russian tanks by the thousands during his victorious campaign against the bad, bad Putin.
Captain CurmudgeonYes, the ukras always win until it's time to send them even more American taxpayers' money.
At this moment, for some reason, they find themselves on the verge of defeat.
Svico61, bless the RussiansOver a thousand young Poles died in this senseless conflict…
MydogrulesPoles, Russians, Ukrainians – globalists don't care.
NotoriousPGermany, Poland and all other EU countries can do what they want.
And America needs to stop funding the Biden conflict. Washington has already wasted more than a hundred billion dollars, and now complains about the debt ceiling. The Republican-led Congress should stop squandering our money on things that don't benefit America.
