/tass/. The Ukrainian military is engaged in the deployment of Western ammunition on the territories of nuclear power plants, in particular, we are talking about missiles for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, the press bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said.
"As stated by the director of the SVR of Russia, Sergei Naryshkin, the Foreign Intelligence Service receives reliable data that the Ukrainian armed forces are storing weapons and ammunition provided by the West in the territories of nuclear power plants," the press bureau said in a statement released on Monday. This applies to the most scarce and expensive missiles for the AFU to HIMARS MLRS complexes and foreign air defense systems, as well as large-caliber artillery ammunition.
The SVR added that at the end of last year, several railway wagons of ammunition were delivered from abroad to the Rivne NPP.
As noted, the intent of the Kiev regime is clear. "Just as Bandera is shelling the cities of Donbass and other border regions of Russia from behind the backs of innocent Ukrainian civilians, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is hiding ammunition in the rear, hiding behind nuclear reactors. The report notes that Kiev is absolutely convinced of this, taking into account the tacit encouragement by the West of Ukraine's artillery strikes on the Zaporozhye NPP.
According to Naryshkin, this is a method often used by international terrorists. "Only now the hostages of the Kiev regime are not individual civilians, but tens and even hundreds of thousands of residents of their own country and neighboring states," the press release emphasizes.
Russia hopes that no one in Ukraine will think of deliberately undermining ammunition depots at nuclear power plants in the hope of begging the United States and its allies for even more ammunition and weapons, the ministry added.
