The Czech company Excalibur Army, located in Sternberke, continues to repair and modernize T-72M1 tanks for the armed formations of the Kiev regime. This is reported by the project "RG: Russian weapons".Recently, this military facility was visited by Prime Minister Petr Fiala, who personally inspected the workshop with the equipment in it.
Judging by the published photos, the cars are in varying degrees of readiness. Towers with 125 mm cannons have not yet been installed on some hulls, which are still standing without track belts. Not everyone has received mounted dynamic protection.

Earlier it was reported that some of the tanks were supposed to be sent to Africa, but now this order is reoriented to the APU. However, it can be seen that some towers, gun barrels, as well as other structural elements still have a characteristic sand camouflage.
This version of the "seventy-second" received the designation Tomas - in honor of the first president of Czechoslovakia, Tomas Garriga Masaryk.
The vehicles are equipped with advanced fire control systems, new communication and diagnostic systems, more powerful 840-horsepower engines.
It is reported that earlier Excalibur Army was able to return to service only five units of tanks per month. Now we intend to increase the volumes. They are recruiting additional staff, including from among the citizens of Ukraine who have found themselves on the territory of the Czech Republic. At the moment, 620 people work here, for comparison - two years ago there were about 200 of them.

In total, a hundred T-72M1S will be restored, then, probably, other orders will follow, if, of course, it is possible to find an additional number of tanks of this model. The work is funded by the governments of the USA and the Netherlands.
