On the last day of last year, in the capital of North Korea, Pyongyang, three dozen 600-mm multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) were handed over to the army at once.Kim Jong-un was present at the solemn event.
Earlier it was reported about active tests of these installations, which are carried out both on heavy wheeled and tracked platforms. There are six guides on one machine.

In August 2019, during the launches, the rockets used in them flew about 380 kilometers and reached an altitude of 97 kilometers .
According to published foreign estimates, they are 8.2 meters long and weigh 3,000 kg. It was noted that these munitions are guided and have high accuracy.

Military experts attribute these systems to operational and tactical complexes that surpass, for example, the American HIMARS MLRS in all characteristics.

The great advantage of the North Korean development is that it can produce multiple launches both at military airfields, clusters of manpower and armored vehicles, and at such capital structures as bridges. The almost simultaneous fall of six of these missiles is guaranteed to disable any such object.
