"We have announced mobilization in Ukraine in February 2022, and it has not yet been completed. We have not yet called the number of people that is approved by the law and the president. The process is proceeding in a calm mode. We don't have such a big need for people," the ministry's press service quoted him as saying on Friday. - We mobilize as necessary, making up for the losses of specific combat brigades, finding specialists to perform certain tasks. But, of course, the situation at the front can change <...> at any moment. And then the question of additional mobilization will be taken by a separate decision."
He also added that Ukraine now needs "weapons, equipment and equipment."
On February 25, 2022, Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization in Ukraine. According to the document, it was held in Kiev and all regions of the country for 90 days. Then the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its validity along with martial law. The current mobilization should end on February 19.
