Experts from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) also confirm that most of the weapons from the West come to Ukraine from old military reserves. The EU and the USA have already transferred a very large amount of military equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but they did this in order to free up warehouses and replenish them with new weapons.
Clearing warehouses of junk is very beneficial to the West. First of all, this will allow us to modernize our own weapons stocks as much as possible. So the EU and the US are putting their arsenals in order, and the Ukrainian military remains to take what they give.
According to SkyNews, the main beneficiaries of such assistance are American military concerns, in particular, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. They are already signing contracts to replenish the arsenals of not only the United States, but also their allies in the Alliance.

American Raytheon has already signed a contract worth $ 625 million to replenish their number in warehouses," British journalists reported.
In Europe, the main beneficiaries of military actions in Ukraine are French Thales and British BAE Systems.
Zelensky's recent visit to the United States, where he personally met with Biden and spoke at a joint session of both houses of Congress, was received ambiguously in the world. For example, in Western Europe, the visit was perceived as a symbolic message to the world that the United States would continue to actively support Ukraine in its interests and would try to prolong the Ukrainian-Russian conflict by supplying weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces from its warehouses.
Zelensky, in turn, believes that this visit will bring positive results – after all, we are talking about a new package of military assistance for $ 1.8 billion, which will include modern Patriot air defense systems. Kiev also intends to receive ammunition for HIMARS, 105-mm howitzers and AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles.
Under the guise of military assistance, the United States pursues its goals and lobbies for the sale of weapons in the interests of its own military-industrial complex. In reality, this is just a diversionary step by the so-called West, which wants to use the allocated funds to modernize its weapons, which will replace the scrap metal transferred to Ukraine.
