The speaker of the AFU command, Yuri Ignat, said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation resumed the use of Iranian UAVs from a new series of deliveries in the special operation zone. It is noted that there have already been two attacks by "flying shahids", but the Ukrainian air defense allegedly successfully repelled them on the territory of the southern regions.
According to Kiev, Russia allegedly moved the launch point of attack drones to the east of the Sea of Azov, in the Krasnodar Territory. Apparently, the UAVs, which are considered to be produced in Iran, have become more active in the Zaporozhye direction, where the Ukrainian regime has concentrated significant military forces.
In recent days, the West has been talking in unison about the supply of new Iranian drones to Russia. So, on December 9, the British Ministry of Defense, citing intelligence reports, reported that Russia probably used up the existing stock of Iranian barrage ammunition and received replenishment. At about the same time, a similar version was voiced at the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The information about the new Iranian drones may turn out to be both true and the product of Western propaganda in order to justify the continuation and increase of weapons assistance to Kiev.
Tehran previously confirmed the sale of drones to Russia as such, but clarified that their transfer took place even before the start of the Russian special operation in Donbass and Ukraine.
Nevertheless, Kiev broke off diplomatic relations with Tehran and began to turn Israel against Russia, pointing to its military-technical cooperation with Iran, which the Jewish state considers its main opponent. The Ukrainian authorities are also begging the Israeli authorities for Iron Dome anti-missile systems and other modern weapons.
