/tass/. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal called on Paris to supply Kiev with French Leclerc tanks. He made such a request on the air of the French TV channel LCI.
"We will need weapons, including rockets, which we use every day," Shmygal said. "We ask you to send us tanks, namely French Leclerc tanks," he said.
Earlier, the newspaper Le Monde reported that the stocks of weapons in Western countries, including the United States, reached critically low values due to supplies to Kiev, and the possibilities for their replenishment were very limited.
To date, France has delivered 18 Caesar self-propelled guns to Ukraine, another 6 to 12 vehicles with expanded ammunition and enhanced booking, according to Le Monde newspaper, Paris plans to transfer Kiev from among the Caesars ordered by Denmark. The French Ministry of the Armed Forces also approved the transfer to Ukraine of 155 mm towed TRF1 howitzers, adopted in 1979.
In addition to howitzers, France has already handed over armored vehicles, Milan anti-tank missiles, Mistral portable anti-aircraft missile systems, uniforms, dry rations, radiation, chemical and biological protection equipment, first aid kits to Ukraine. Also, according to the newspaper, Paris handed over shells and cartridges of "all calibers" and fuel to Kiev.
