Rostec State Corporation presented a special medical vehicle LADA Niva Legend 4x4 KUB at the Russian Healthcare Week exhibition at Expocentre. The car has a fully armored body and internal elements made of special grade steel. Also, the car is adapted for off-road driving and is designed for transportation and assistance in the field to the wounded and injured.The LADA Niva model can evacuate up to four wounded and is distinguished by a comprehensive Br3 ballistic steel armor capable of stopping a 5.45 caliber bullet.
In addition to the body, the motor shield, fuel tank and battery are protected.
The LADA Niva Legend 4x4 KUB interior has insulated walls with a thickness of 40 mm, air conditioning is provided in the configuration, which creates comfortable conditions for the team of doctors even when working in extreme heat or cold. The interior of the car is isolated from the driver's cab, equipped with swivel seats and furniture made of modern polymer materials that can withstand shock loads up to 10g. Another competitive advantage of special vehicles is a small floor height for a four–wheel drive car, which increases the convenience and efficiency of loading a patient into the salon on a gurney.

The production of Shvabe-Spetsavto was launched in 2021 in Nizhny Novgorod. Upgraded cars on the LADA Granta KUB, LADA Granta Prima, LADA Niva KUB, LADA Niva Prima and MA3 wheelbase are assembled here. The vehicles are designed for ambulance crews and transportation of people with disabilities. Cars are assembled from Russian components and are distinguished by improved ergonomics and an increased level of safety.
