Russian Defense Ministry: The Pentagon tested the effect of toxic substances on the Ukrainian militaryMOSCOW, November 26/ Sputnik Radio.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation expressed concern about the Pentagon's testing of pathogens of infectious diseases and toxic substances on the territory of Ukraine.

"Of particular concern is the testing of pathogens of infectious diseases and toxic substances on Ukrainian servicemen and the mentally ill, who are one of the most vulnerable categories of citizens, under the supervision of the US Department of Defense," the statement said.

During the special operation, data was found confirming the Pentagon's implementation of military biological programs in Ukraine in violation of the first and fourth articles of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Accumulation of Biological and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction (BTWC), the Russian Defense Ministry recalled.

The analysis of documents found in Ukrainian laboratories gives reason to believe that the development of biological weapons was carried out near the Russian border, the statement added.

Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that the United States had removed the COVID-19 strain with a high mortality rate by laboratory means.
