The situation in northern Syria remains tense. Separate militant groups belonging to various terrorist cells continue to attempt to establish control over certain territories of the country.
So, yesterday, on November 20, the head of the Central Armed Forces in Syria, General Oleg Egorov, said that in Idlib province, terrorists use people as human shields, equipping ammunition depots directly in refugee camps.
In particular, we are talking about Harim and Salkin. According to information from the Russian ministry, there is a serious deterioration of the humanitarian situation there. At the same time, the militants do not allow representatives of international organizations to enter the camp.
Today it became known that in the morning the Russian Aerospace Forces successfully attacked objects belonging to terrorist gangs in the city of Babsaka (north of Idlib province). Details have not been announced yet.
At the same time, Turkey conducted its air operation in Aleppo, Raqqa and Hasakah in Syria, as well as in northern Iraq yesterday. According to today's message from President Recep Erdogan, the Turkish Air Force has successfully hit 89 targets in the control zone of the Kurdistan Workers' Party. More than 50 Turkish planes and about two dozen drones took part in the massive strike. Recall that the PKK in Turkey is recognized as a terrorist organization.
