The Russian infantry fighting vehicle "Manul" was repeatedly demonstrated at the international military-technical forums "Army" held in the Moscow region. For example, in 2020, they showed a variant with an uninhabited universal compartment TKB-945, which is also called "Boomerang-BM".It is used on the K-17 "Boomerang" wheeled armored vehicle, tracked B-11 "Kurganets-25" and T-15 "Armata", created on the basis of promising domestic platforms.

The weapons used are a 30-mm automatic cannon, a 7.62-mm twin machine gun and one of the world's most powerful anti-tank guided missiles "Kornet", characterized by high range and armor penetration characteristics.
This module is equipped with modern aiming systems that allow the effective use of weapons both day and night.
It was reported that an Epoch combat compartment with a 57-mm low-ballistics gun was installed on the Manul, which significantly increases the firepower of this armored vehicle.
The UTD-32T with a capacity of 660 hp was used as an engine, which allows achieving high mobility characteristics, including on rough terrain.

It was noted that on the basis of this BMP, a whole family of various combat and auxiliary equipment can be created. For example, more than fifteen different models of equipment were created on the basis of the BMP-3. There may be even more of them on the Manula platform.
