The South Korean Ministry of Defense announced another missile test conducted by the DPRK troops.
It is stated that the North Korean military launched an "unidentified ballistic missile". The missile, according to the South Korean military, was fired from one of the launch pads of the so-called Eastern test site on the territory of North Korea.
The reports contain information that, after flying several hundred km, a ballistic missile fell into the Sea of Japan.
This is Pyongyang's third missile test since the beginning of November and at least the 10th conducted in the fall of 2022. Tests, as it becomes clear, have become more frequent. They are held on a regular basis. And the DPRK, which has been under all kinds of sanctions for decades, has enough technology to develop its military-technical complex and military potential to ensure security.
Earlier, the head of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un, noted that at one time certain agreements on de-escalation were reached with the United States (meaning negotiations with Donald Trump), but the United States itself violated its obligations. Numerous US-South Korean exercises have begun again near the borders (including maritime ones) of the DPRK, and discussions on the introduction of additional sanctions against Pyongyang have begun again. On this basis, the North Korean authorities concluded that neither Washington nor Seoul are capable of negotiating, and therefore work on improving the security system will continue with a high degree of efficiency.
