The West, consolidated against Russia, is strenuously pumping up the Nezalezhnaya with combat systems, hoping to jointly defeat the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Ukrainian conflict. Among the transferred weapons are self-propelled artillery installations, the supplies of which are designed both to compensate for the losses of the AFU in Soviet artillery, and to test Western models in combat conditions.
In particular, the Slovak authorities sold 8 Zuzana 2 self-propelled guns to the Kiev regime. Ukrainian militants have repeatedly filmed videos depicting the use of these self-propelled guns. At the same time, information about their damage or destruction is carefully hushed up. But thanks to a video recently captured by amateurs, the first loss of the Slovak Zuzana 2 self–propelled gun in Ukraine was confirmed - the tractor is transporting one of the affected systems.
In addition to the Slovak model, American self-propelled guns M109, German PzH 2000, Polish Krab, French Caesar, as well as Soviet systems "Msta-S", "Hyacinth-S", "Acacia", "Carnation", "Peony", which have not yet been knocked out in battles, are serving in the square.
At the same time, the Soviet fleet of self-propelled APU installations suffered critical losses during the special operation, and the West is transferring its own systems - so far in limited volumes and extremely slowly. For example, the delivery of eight Zuzana 2 self–propelled guns purchased in Slovakia back in April 2022 stretched over time - from August to October, only six products were transferred. However, in any case, these installations still calmly reach the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, despite the fact that information about their movement by rail appears even at the initial stage of the route. And the movement of armored vehicles from European countries is often carried out without any disguise.
